Since its origins with TECHI-IMPORT PROFESSIONNEL – a historical player, and France’s No.1 importer of leading slot machine brands from 1988 onwards – the specialist TRANCHANT group subsidiary grew quickly in a few years to become a major supplier of casinos and gaming clubs.
As a gaming equipment specialist, its business grew rapidly with the purchase of CARO DÉVELOPPEMENT for the manufacture of gaming tables and accessories, followed by the creation of TRANCHANT GAMING TECHNOLOGY (TGT) and CASINO ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY (CAT).
Accredited as a supply and maintenance company by the French Interior Ministry, CAT imports, manufactures, distributes and installs (service, maintenance and support) gaming equipment (new electronic technologies, slot machines, gaming tables, and equipment and accessories), meeting the innovation and design expectations of the market and of the general public.

A specialist subsidiary of the TRANCHANT group, ZALIX BIOMÉTRIE has been designing, developing and integrating a full range of biometric equipment and solutions (identification and recognition, access control, management of the presence and traceability of human flows, information security, electronic handwritten signature, etc.) since 1999. It also has a network of specialised distributors and installers across the whole of France, Western Europe and West Africa.
Its equipment and software are natively compliant with the GDPR, and use the best biometric technologies (fingerprinting, hand morphology, iris structure, 2D and 3D facial morphology, venous network of the palm of the hand, handwritten signature).

A specialised subsidiary of the TRANCHANT group, IMPORTATION DISTRIBUTION SERVICES (IDS) provides a comprehensive offering of tailored products and services to companies through its numerous partnerships with key publishers, constructors, manufacturers and distributors worldwide.
With a historical specialisation in IT distribution to companies (hardware, accessories and consumables), its business has grown rapidly into other sectors: audiovisual and multimedia, communication (telephony and radio), security (video surveillance and biometrics), advertising (publishing, manufacturing and business gifts).
In parallel with the TRANCHANT group’s opening of new activity complexes focused on shooting sports, IDS has been developing exclusive partnerships (particularly with the world leader, PERAZZI) to import, distribute and resell hunting and shooting sports equipment and accessories, installations, technical equipment and services (earthworks and development for hunting grounds), but also to organise events at its partners’ sites and ranges.
